Located on an 11,700m² site in Dandenong South, the new 4,800m² development expands Vawdrey’s existing footprint and integrates seamlessly with their current operations. At the heart of the project is a 1,300m² purpose-designed workshop, engineered to accommodate large-scale manufacturing, assembly and repair activities. This new facility enhances efficiency through improved spatial planning, advanced service integration and clear, unobstructed access for heavy equipment.
Complementing the workshop is a 600m² all-weather canopy, providing covered zones for loading, assembly and material handling. This addition not only streamlines daily operations but also ensures year-round reliability, a key advantage for a business operating in a high-throughput, time-sensitive environment.
Delivering this project required careful coordination to ensure construction progressed with minimal disruption to Vawdrey’s live operations. Through close collaboration and precise planning, the Corplex team was able to maintain safety, productivity and continuity on site while achieving the project’s ambitious program and quality targets.
