WHERE ARE YOU BUILDING?
CADET PROGRAM
The Corplex Construction Cadet Program is designed for individuals who are passionate about building a long-term career in construction and aspire to become future Site Managers. It provides a unique opportunity to learn directly from industry leaders while developing a broad foundation of technical, operational and leadership skills.
Through a structured mix of departmental rotations, site-based learning and mentoring, cadets gain valuable exposure to every aspect of the construction process, from tender and design through to project delivery and site management. Each stage of the program is designed to provide practical experience, build professional confidence, and nurture the next generation of construction leaders.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES & OUTLINE
BUILDING STRONG FOUNDATIONS FOR A LASTING CAREER
The 18-month program blends classroom-based learning with real-world experience, ensuring cadets develop a well-rounded understanding of how projects come to life. It complements tertiary studies or prior on-site experience and serves as the first step on a structured career pathway from Construction Cadet to Junior Site Manager, and finally to Site Manager.
Stage 1 introduces cadets to key departments across the business, including Design, Estimating, Procurement and Project Management, providing valuable insight into the planning, commercial and operational functions that underpin every successful build.
Stage 2 places cadets in site-based roles, where they gain hands-on experience under the mentorship of a senior Site Manager. Here, they learn the realities of construction delivery, managing trades, coordinating resources, maintaining quality and ensuring safety on-site.
Throughout the program, cadets receive ongoing guidance and feedback from Corplex’s senior team members, who share their knowledge and expertise to support professional and personal growth.
