Corplex began in 2004 with a simple but ambitious goal: to create a construction company that combined genuine client care with uncompromising quality. The business was founded by Dominic Cullia and Stephen Camerlengo, two professionals from very different backgrounds who shared the same values – integrity, collaboration and excellence.
Dominic brought vast experience in sales and construction, having led projects and teams from the ground up. His practical understanding of how things get built, along with his sharp eye for detail and commitment to clients, shaped the way Corplex approached every job. His belief that success comes from genuine relationships became a cornerstone of the Corplex philosophy.
Stephen came from the corporate world, where his time in technology and business leadership honed his skills in strategy, governance and relationship management. He brought structure, innovation and a big-picture mindset to the growing company; helping Corplex evolve from a small local builder into a business with strong systems and a clear vision for sustainable growth.
Those early years were defined by long hours, close teamwork and an unshakable sense of purpose and belief in doing things properly. Every person wore many hats, and every project was personal. Clients quickly noticed the difference: a builder who listened, who cared, and who stood by their word. That spirit of Family, Professionalism, and Excellence became the foundation of the company’s culture; one that still defines Corplex today.

As Corplex grew, new expertise joined the leadership team, each person bringing a distinct strength that helped elevate the business and refine how it operated.
Carlo Borzillo brought deep technical knowledge and a passion for engineering precision. With a strong foundation in civil and construction principles, he helped shape the company’s approach to quality, safety and delivery, ensuring every project met the highest standard. Carlo’s influence reinforced Corplex’s reputation for reliability and excellence on complex builds.
Paul Sortino strengthened Corplex’s commercial backbone with his extensive background in financial management and corporate governance. His strategic oversight and disciplined approach to growth helped the company mature while maintaining stability and focus. Under his guidance, Corplex developed the robust financial and operational foundations that support its continued expansion today.
Darren Paziotis brought with him entrepreneurial insight and a strong understanding of business operations, strategy and client relations. His leadership helped Corplex continue to evolve with confidence, diversifying its project portfolio and fostering long-term relationships built on trust, transparency and shared success.
Together, the leadership team brought balance – practical experience, technical depth, strategic thinking and financial discipline, all working in harmony to build a company known for being client-driven, professional and dependable.
