Foundations for the Future: Corplex Builds Purpose-Built Facility for BoardPro
At Corplex, we’re proud to continue our partnership with Boardpro, a leading plasterboard supply and installation specialist servicing the residential building market across metropolitan Melbourne and surrounding regions, as we deliver their second purpose-built facility; this time in Pakenham, one of Melbourne’s fastest-growing industrial precincts.
Established in 2005, Boardpro has built a strong reputation working alongside many of Victoria’s top residential builders, including a number ranked within the state’s top 20. With projects spanning Melbourne, Geelong, Kilmore, Traralgon and Phillip Island, Boardpro’s operations rely on efficiency, coordination and scale, all of which have been carefully embedded into the design and construction of this new facility.

Corplex Constructs Next Phase of BoardPro’s Growth in Pakenham.
Following the success of their Truganina development, the Pakenham facility represents the next phase of Boardpro’s growth, purpose-built to streamline logistics, increase storage capacity and support a growing workforce. Set on a 7,100m² site, the development delivers a total building area of 5,100m², comprising a 3,300m² warehouse, a 600m² office and a 1,200m² all-weather canopy.
The expansive warehouse has been designed to accommodate high-volume plasterboard storage and rapid dispatch, improving turnaround times and enabling Boardpro to service multiple residential projects simultaneously. The large canopy plays a critical role in daily operations, allowing for efficient loading and unloading regardless of weather conditions, reducing downtime and improving safety for staff and delivery partners.

Internally, the office space supports administration, scheduling and project coordination teams, creating clear lines of communication between logistics, site crews and management. This integration enhances workflow, improves responsiveness to builders on site and allows Boardpro to maintain the high service standards their clients rely on.
