Fueling the Corridor: Corplex Delivers New Caltex Service Station on Kororoit Creek Road
As part of the broader Kororoit Creek Road development, Corplex has also delivered a new Caltex service station, strategically positioned along the main corridor to provide essential fuel and convenience services for the precinct and surrounding industrial network. Integrated within the 96,400m² masterplanned site, the 3,000m² site area service station plays a key supporting role in the overall functionality of the development, servicing both daily operations and long-term growth across Melbourne’s western industrial corridor.
The facility occupies a total building area of 800m², comprising a 300m² retail and service area supported by a 500m² canopy that provides full weather protection for refuelling activities. Designed to meet contemporary service station standards, the layout balances operational efficiency with customer convenience, creating a safe, accessible and intuitive environment for motorists. The canopy structure, fuel infrastructure and retail spaces were all delivered with durability, safety and brand consistency front of mind.

Convenience Meets Function: High-Quality Service Station Completed in Industrial Precinct
Vehicle movement and site circulation were critical considerations throughout the design process. Clear entry and exit points, generous queuing space and well-defined traffic paths ensure smooth flow for both light vehicles and commercial traffic, minimising congestion during peak periods. Easy access between the pumps and the retail space allows customers to refuel and make convenience purchases quickly, supporting high turnover and efficient daily operations.
The Caltex service station’s prominent frontage to Kororoit Creek Road positions it as a valuable asset not only for the immediate industrial estate, but also for the wider logistics and employment precinct that continues to grow in this part of Melbourne’s west. By providing reliable fuel and retail services close to major workplaces, the facility supports productivity, reduces travel time for operators and enhances amenity for workers and visitors alike.
Strategically Positioned: Corplex Adds Retail Fuel Facility to Stage 2 Development
For Corplex, the delivery of this service station demonstrates our ability to seamlessly integrate high-quality retail and infrastructure assets within large-scale industrial developments. It complements the surrounding warehouses and commercial buildings, reinforcing the precinct as a fully serviced, future-ready destination. The Caltex facility stands as another example of how Corplex delivers practical, well-considered outcomes that enhance the performance and value of complex, master planned developments.
