Bold Brand Meets Function: Fujian Footwear’s New Mulgrave Hub
Tasked with delivering a facility that merges operational efficiency with brand identity, Corplex partnered with Fujian Footwear to bring their new Mulgrave headquarters to life. The result is a bespoke office, warehouse and showroom that not only streamlines logistics, but also powerfully reflects the company’s bold visual presence in the built form.
Set on a 7,000m² site, the development comprises a total building area of 4,600m², including a 3,500m² warehouse and a 1,000m² office and showroom component. Four dedicated truck loading docks were integrated into the design to significantly enhance the company’s import and distribution capabilities, enabling faster turnaround times and smoother supply chain operations. Careful consideration was given to site circulation, with clear separation between heavy vehicle movements, staff access and customer-facing areas to ensure safe, efficient daily operations.

The warehouse has been purpose-built to support high-volume storage and distribution, with generous clearances, durable flooring and flexible layout zones that allow Fujian Footwear to adapt as their product range and operational demands evolve. This adaptability ensures the facility can continue to support growth well into the future without compromise to efficiency or safety.
A standout architectural feature is the building’s bold, contemporary façade, which blends clean neutral tones with striking red accents that echo Fujian Footwear’s brand identity. This design language continues internally, where the 1,000m² office and showroom provide a professional yet inviting environment for staff, clients and partners. The showroom benefits from full-height glazing that floods the space with natural light, while intense red carpeting and curated finishes reinforce brand presence and create a memorable customer experience.

Modern office spaces have been designed to support collaboration, administration and management functions, balancing open-plan areas with private meeting rooms and amenities.
