CHILDCARE CENTRE & VETERINARY CLINIC
Clyde North’s New Community Hub: Learning, Play and Care Under One Roof
We’re proud to have successfully completed this dynamic, community-focused development in Clyde North, which brings together a two-storey childcare centre and an adjoining veterinary clinic—two essential services delivered within a single, purpose-built complex. The development demonstrates how thoughtful design, careful planning, and quality construction can create spaces that serve both families and the wider community.
The childcare centre, soon to be operated by Storey House Early Learning, spans 1,500m² and has been carefully designed to provide a safe, engaging, and inspiring environment for young children to learn, play, and grow. A standout feature is the expansive 600m² outdoor play area, thoughtfully configured with a variety of surfaces and activity zones to encourage exploration, creativity, and safe play. With a licensed capacity of 130 children, the centre is poised to play a meaningful role in supporting early childhood education for the rapidly growing Clyde North community. The childcare building itself occupies 1,000m² of the total site, including bright, well-ventilated learning rooms, commercial-grade kitchens, staff facilities, and accessible amenities—all constructed to the highest standards and fully compliant with relevant childcare regulations.

Building Futures and Caring for Pets: A Purpose-Built Hub for Families in Clyde North
Adjacent to the centre, the newly completed 400m² veterinary clinic provides a modern, purpose-built environment for four practicing veterinarians. Designed with efficiency, comfort, and clinical excellence in mind, the facility offers well-planned treatment rooms, consultation areas, and support spaces that enable a high standard of animal care while promoting smooth operational workflow. Together, both facilities form a cohesive, well-integrated hub, providing vital services to families and pet owners in the area. The combined total building area of 1,900m² is supported by 41 on-site car parks, ensuring convenient access for childcare drop-offs, veterinary visits, and staff, while maintaining safe, efficient circulation across the site.
Architecturally, the development presents a balanced blend of natural timber cladding, brick-pattern cement sheet, and compressed cement sheet, achieving a sense of warmth and approachability while remaining low-maintenance and durable. Internally, spaces have been optimised for functionality and comfort, supporting both educational and clinical needs. Every design decision, from outdoor play layouts to treatment room configurations, was made with the end users in mind, ensuring the facilities are practical, welcoming, and ready to support the community for years to come.
