State-of-the-Art Industrial Facility Powers Metecno’s Growth in Campbellfield

Situated on a substantial 33,600m² site, the project includes a total built area of 14,300m² comprising a 13,900m² warehouse, a 400m² office component and a 100m² retail area. The layout has been strategically arranged to support the seamless flow of raw materials, manufacturing, finishing and distribution, reducing handling time and improving overall operational efficiency. The facility was meticulously planned to accommodate the manufacturing of PIR sandwich panels, with particular attention to temperature stability, clean working conditions and optimised production sequencing throughout the plant.

The manufacturing hall has been purpose-built to house custom equipment and specialised production lines, with integrated services and utilities essential for large-scale panel fabrication. Generous clearances, reinforced flooring and carefully planned access points ensure the facility can safely support heavy machinery while allowing for future upgrades or expansion as demand grows. The compact yet functional office component supports both administrative and technical teams, providing comfortable workspaces that remain closely connected to production operations.

Tailored for Innovation: Metecno’s New PIR Panel Plant by Corplex

Externally, the development supports efficient logistics and distribution through extensive hardstand areas, clear vehicle circulation paths and 43 on-site car spaces. These elements enable smooth movement of goods and staff while maintaining safety and durability across the site, essential for a high-output manufacturing operation.

Delivering this project required close collaboration with Metecno and the wider consultant team to ensure the facility met stringent technical, environmental and operational requirements. The result is a robust, efficient and future-ready manufacturing hub that enables Metecno to enhance production capacity, maintain product quality and continue leading innovation in advanced building solutions. We are proud to have partnered with Metecno on this significant project and to support their ongoing role in shaping Australia’s building products industry.
