GREEN STAR REGISTERED BUILD

Green Star Excellence: Corplex Delivers Sustainable Derrimut Facility

Our latest Green Star Registered industrial project at Park West Drive, Derrimut, is now complete – a high-performance, sustainable development delivered for Charter Hall and occupier Quik Corp. This milestone reflects Corplex’s ongoing commitment to building smarter, more efficient industrial facilities that align with both environmental best practice and the operational needs of modern businesses.

Set across an 18,000m² site, the development comprises two architecturally cohesive buildings, offering a combined 9,500m² of high-clearance warehouse space, 500m² of premium office accommodation, and 6,500m² of external hardstand designed for heavy-duty logistics and seamless vehicle access. The facility has been purpose-built to support Quik Corp, a leading Australian manufacturer of advanced equipment and vehicle systems for the agriculture, emergency services and industrial sectors. Designed with long-term adaptability and resilience in mind, the space provides the flexibility needed to evolve alongside Quik Corp’s growing operations.

Smart, Sustainable, Strong – Quik Corp’s New Industrial Hub

From the outset, sustainability was central to the project’s vision. Each building integrates a 99kW solar PV system and solar hot water units, supported by high-efficiency lighting, HVAC, and water-saving fixtures. Rainwater harvesting and stormwater quality systems contribute to water reuse and site health, while life cycle-conscious building materials help reduce embodied carbon and promote long-term performance. Together, these features create a facility that minimises environmental impact and lowers operational costs for the occupier.

The project is Green Star Registered, part of a national sustainability rating system developed by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA). Green Star assesses the design, construction and operation of buildings against key environmental categories such as energy, water, materials, indoor environment quality and innovation. Registration signifies a commitment to achieving measurable sustainability outcomes and reflects Corplex’s dedication to aligning our construction practices with national standards for sustainable development.
