Corplex Delivers Vibrant, Sustainable Childcare Facility in Forest Hill
Corplex is proud to have delivered this purpose-built, two-storey childcare facility on a 2,100m² site in the heart of Forest Hill. Designed to accommodate up to 122 children, the project features a generous 900m² outdoor play area and a thoughtfully planned internal layout that balances safety, supervision and creativity to support a vibrant early learning environment.
Constructed using precast concrete, the 1,300m² building was delivered with durability, thermal performance and long-term operational efficiency at its core. Robust structural elements ensure the facility can withstand the demands of daily use, while providing a calm, comfortable setting for both children and educators. A key element of the project was the integration of a Bodpave carpark system, delivering 27 on-site car spaces while meeting council ‘Green Area’ requirements, a critical outcome within the site’s established residential context.

Purpose-Built Two-Storey Childcare Centre Combines Safety and Style
The external facade combines Concept Click Batten systems with non-combustible Vitracore cladding, creating a contemporary, welcoming presence while prioritising safety and compliance. This material palette enhances visual appeal while delivering low-maintenance performance over the life of the building. Landscaping and site planning were carefully considered to ensure smooth pedestrian movement, safe drop-off zones and a strong connection between indoor and outdoor learning spaces.
Internally, Corplex delivered the facility to a highly detailed specification, incorporating colourful finishes, durable materials and purpose-designed learning rooms that encourage exploration and engagement. Spaces were designed to be flexible and adaptable, supporting a range of age groups, activities and educational programs while providing educators with efficient workflows and clear sightlines.
