Overcoming the Slope: A New Food Hub Rises in Tullamarine

Our recent delivery for Best Multiple Food in Tullamarine is no exception, marking the completion of a new head office and food manufacturing facility that perfectly balances form, function and performance.
Best Multiple Food is a leading Australian producer and distributor of premium Asian-inspired food products, supplying both retail and wholesale markets. With demand for their products rapidly growing, the business needed a facility that could support increased production capacity while providing a contemporary workspace for their expanding team.
Set along the banks of Steele Creek, the site presented a complex challenge – steep terrain and variable ground conditions demanded significant preparation and engineering innovation. To stabilise the land and ensure long-term performance, our team undertook extensive earthworks, including impact rolling for ground stabilisation, the installation of bored piers, and the construction of a 5-metre-high retaining wall to support both the external hardstand and the suspended warehouse floor.

The result is a high-spec facility that meets the demanding requirements of modern food manufacturing. The development spans 4,400m² and features a 300m² two-storey head office, designed to enhance collaboration, comfort and efficiency. Bright, open-plan workspaces, meeting rooms and high-quality finishes create an environment that supports productivity and staff wellbeing.
Adjacent to the office is a 1,700m² purpose-built manufacturing facility, fitted out to accommodate food-grade production with specialised drainage, ventilation and service connections. Each element was designed to comply with strict food industry standards, ensuring hygiene, safety and reliability throughout the operational process.
Delivering this project required close coordination across multiple disciplines; structural, civil, mechanical and food-grade compliance, all managed to meet the client’s timeline and expansion goals.
