Design, Deliver, Repeat: Corplex and Stone Ambassador Strengthen a Proven Formula
Located in Epping within Melbourne’s established northern industrial precinct, the design and construct project spans a 9,000m² site and delivers a total building area of 4,400m². This includes 3,900m² of high-clearance warehouse space and 600m² of modern office and showroom accommodation, carefully planned to support both operational performance and client engagement.
The warehouse has been designed to accommodate the safe and efficient handling of heavy stone materials, with generous clear spans, durable industrial finishes and practical circulation paths to support loading, storage and distribution activities. The adjoining office and showroom spaces provide a high-quality architectural interface for clients, architects and designers, showcasing Stone Ambassador’s product range in a contemporary and considered environment.
Cut from the Same Stone: A Continued Partnership Built on Stone and Precision
Having delivered two previous facilities for Stone Ambassador, Corplex brought a strong understanding of the tenant’s operational requirements and workflow efficiencies. This enabled a more refined and coordinated design approach, with lessons from previous projects directly informing improvements in layout, functionality and delivery outcomes.
The repeat nature of this relationship highlights the value of continuity between client, tenant and builder. For Stone Ambassador, consistency of delivery across multiple states ensures operational familiarity and brand cohesion, while for Corplex it enables deeper collaboration, improved efficiency in design development and a more streamlined construction process.
This project further demonstrates Corplex’s capability in delivering tailored industrial facilities under a design and construct model, while reinforcing the strength of repeat tenant relationships that evolve through trust, performance and shared project experience across multiple developments.
